Raffaele Manna has been appointed Managing Director of TVG-Zimsen, an Eimskip subsidiary. He succeeds Elísa Dögg Moraitis Björnsdóttir, who was recently appointed Executive Vice President of Iceland Domestic Operations at Eimskip.
Raffaele has held various management and business development roles within the Eimskip Group over the years. Most recently, he led the Eimskip Liner Partner Network and was responsible for developing partnerships, services and transportation solutions across international markets.

He possesses deep knowledge of our operations, strong commercial insight and extensive experience in managing international business relationships. Extensive international experience
Before joining Eimskip, Raffaele worked for TVG-Zimsen in both Reykjavík and Rotterdam, where he held positions in customer service and sales before later assuming responsibility for the Company’s international partnerships. During this time, he gained extensive operational and commercial experience and developed a strong understanding of both the Icelandic market and the international transportation industry.
Born in Italy, Raffaele holds a degree in International Relations and Communication from Università degli Studi di Milano, as well as a diploma in International Business from Reykjavík University. He brings approximately 15 years of experience in freight forwarding and air and ocean transportation. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with partners around the world, managed complex supply chains and contributed to the development of efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions. He is multilingual and experienced in working within international and multicultural environments.
