Eimskip is closely monitoring the development in light of the current situation in Ukraine. International shipping companies that are Eimskip’s partners have either suspended or reduced their services to ports in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, and therefore Eimskip currently offers reduced services to and from these countries.
There is uncertainty regarding how European ports are handling cargo to and from the abovementioned countries. The Company is working closely with its customers and applicable authorities in this situation to ensure the best possible solutions.
It is also evident that there is a great deal of uncertainty about further development, conditions are changing rapidly but Eimskip is monitoring the situation by the hour.
