TVG-Zimsen ehf. and Cargo Express ehf. have reached an agreement to abandon the proposed merger involving TVG-Zimsen’s acquisition of all shares in Cargo Express ehf., which was announced on 6 March 2026. The transaction was subject to approval by the Icelandic Competition Authority and due to uncertainty regarding the Authority’s position on the merger, the parties have decided to withdraw from the transaction. The merger notification under review by the Competition Authority has been formally withdrawn.
